The contributions payable by a Voluntary Contributor shall be based on the Average Annual Insurable Earnings (AAIE) for the two years immediately preceding the date of commencement of voluntary coverage. The Rate of Contribution payable is 11.90% of such average annual earnings and may be paid on an annual basis, or by monthly installments.

A Voluntary Contributor may lose his status if he fails to settle all outstanding contributions due within 26 weeks of the end of the Contribution year.
