1. Objective
Design a logo that will represent the 50th Anniversary of Dominica Social Security. The logo should reflect DSS’ legacy, service, growth, and theme of the anniversary year ‘A Legacy of Protection – Securing the Future’.
2. Eligibility
- Open to all residents of Dominica
- Individuals or teams may enter
3. Design Requirements
- Must include the number “50” and the phrase “Dominica Social Security“
- Should convey the theme of the anniversary year ‘A Legacy of Protection – Securing the Future’
- Must be original and not infringe on any existing copyrights or trademarks
- It should look good in both color and black & white
- Scalable – should work on small items (pins, stationery) and large items (banners, billboards)
4. Submission Specifications
- Format: JPEG/PNG
- Minimum resolution: 300 DPI
- Max file size: 10MB
- Each entry must include a short description (max 100 words) explaining the design concept
- Include your full name, age, contact info, and affiliation (if applicable)
5. Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by May 19th, 2025, to [email protected] with the subject line: ‘50th Anniversary
Logo Submission’.
6. Judging Criteria
- Creativity and originality (25%)
- Relevance to the 50th anniversary theme (25%)
- Visual impact and memorability (20%)
- Versatility and usability (20%)
- Clarity of the concept description (10%)
7. Prize
EC$1,000 cash prize + official recognition + logo featured on all 50th Anniversary materials
8. Terms and Conditions
- The winner agrees to transfer all rights to ownership of the logo to Dominica Social Security.
- The Dominica Social Security reserves the right to make modifications to the winning logo.
DSS Employees and their immediate family are prohibited from participating in this competition.
